Within this article you will find sub-modules of the Customer Module. Next, we explain each of these and how they can help you analyze your users.

It is important to mention that the Customer Module will be activated if you have a database that is registered in Platform. And in the case of OTTs, the associated transactions and content consumption of those users are stored.

Customers - Customers

We can see the information of registered users:

Clicking on this option displays basic information on registered users such as their database registration status, name, surname, email, country, social networks, creation date and actions (Live consumption history).

We can filter if we want to search for a specific user and for this we can search by email:

Where you can make filters by name and surname, email etc. You can also download the report in a .csv file with the information that was generated at the time of user registration.

Basic Information:

Here we can see the basic information such as Name, Surname, email, among others:

Address Information:

Here we have information about the location

Social

If you have a social network linked

Metadata:

Where you have information for example about the favorite team, date of birth, among others:

Changes can be made in these fields and for the changes to be effective, click Save Changes:

We also have the option to delete the user:

In the Actions section - " View History " we can access the Live session and consumption record, for example in the OTT. At this point, we can observe the user's consumption as from which device was connected, isp, among others.

By clicking on the name we can access the user's information:

If a payment gateway is integrated, within each user record we can see the information in the Purchases area . In each Purcharse we can see the associated payments.

Finally we have a history of the last five sessions, where we can see data such as date, ip, country and browser:

Customers - Coupons

The Coupons sub-module allows generating transactional accesses or not within the OTT platform:

The first thing to do is create a Coupon Group

To create a new group we must assign the Name that identifies the type of coupons that we will create. For example, Marketing, Reward, Internal Customer or others.

When we have created the groups we will have a list and it shows us information such as creation date, name, total coupons and if it is used or not, to view or create the coupons we click on the name

Upon entering the created group, we have the option to create a coupon:

And in the next window, we can configure the coupon:

Availability

  • From: We can add the effective date of the coupon redemption.

  • To: We can add the expiration date of the coupon redemption.

  • Create reusable Coupon: Allows you to create a coupon with a unique name for specific actions.

  • Quantity: Number of coupons we want to create. Which will generate a unique alphanumeric code.

  • Detail: Specify what the coupon will be used for.

  • Coupon Type: Coupon type ( PPV Live / VOD and Plan ). In the case of the VOD PPV, the option to assign the coupon to a specific media will be displayed within the coupon area.

  • Discount Type: Add the discount type of the coupon ( Discount Percentage, Trial Days and Trial until Date ).

Once the parameters of our coupon have been added, we generate it so that it can be enabled and ready for use by clicking on:

We have the option of looking for our coupon in the coupon " Search " or a group of coupons:

If you do a coupon search, it will tell you if it was used or not and by whom:

If we want to carry out a more specific search for a coupon group, we can click on " Advanced ":

Customers - Payments

The Payments sub-module allows you to view the information provided by the payment gateways associated with the transactions:

  • Customer: The email registered by the user is displayed.

  • Transaction ID: Corresponds to the identification of the transaction in the payment gateway.

  • Invoice Number: Corresponds to the number of the ballot issued.

  • Gateway: Name of the payment gateway through which the user made the purchase.

  • Amount: Amount paid by the user.

  • Currency: Type of currency for which the user made the payment (Dollar, Chilean peso, Colombian peso or other).

  • Status: The final status of the transaction.

  • Date Created: Date of creation of the payment record.

If you click on any of these elements, the details of the transaction will be displayed:

Customers - Customer Analytics

The Customer Analytics sub-module will allow you to review user analytics regarding registrations, activations and purchases. The first information is fixed that is updated according to the established parameters.

In addition, you have the option to filter for a time (custom range) to be able to make queries that will be reflected in the subsequent graphs:

In the following sections you will be able to analyze:

  • Customers: Registered and active users.

  • Purcharses: Subscriptions purchased by users.

In the Subscriptions section, you will be able to analyze the purchases made by users and purchasing behavior to determine what type of subscription has been the most acquired by your users in a certain time.

In the Purchase by Country section, you will be able to analyze which country your users' purchase comes from.

The Customer Churns section is the percentage of customers who stopped paying for the product or service:

Customers - Financial Analytics

The Financial Analytics sub-module will allow you to review the accumulations of the purchases made by your users in a certain time. The first information is fixed that is updated according to the established parameters.

In addition, you have the option to filter for a time (custom range) to be able to make queries that will be reflected in the subsequent graphs:

In the following sections you will be able to analyze:

  • Income: Income graph.

  • Gateway: Income graph by payment gateway.

  • Coupons: Coupon redemption chart.

Important: The data and graphs vary according to the time filter that you want to apply.

In the Payment Method section, you will be able to analyze the different payment methods that users have used.
