It should be noted that RTMP is not multibitrate oriented.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use this function.
Creation
In the Live module, click on the New Video Stream button in the upper left corner of the screen you can create a new broadcast.
Followed by editing some of the basic parameters of Live (Title, Encoding Profiles, Publishing Points).
Title: Title assigned to the live.
Encoding Profiles: Encoding profiles. (We click on the (+) icon)
We set a single resolution and save the changes.
Publishing Points: Publishing points (Depending on the area where the user is located, US or CL can be selected).
Once all these parameters have been configured, we click Save changes.
Configuration with OBS Studio
In case of users who use OBS to perform a verification of the publication of the RTMP, they will be able to follow the following steps:
First, you must select Settings.
Next we go to Broadcast and configure the Server and Retransmission Key parameters.
Broadcast
(This data is obtained once the Live is created)
Publishing Points
Stream ID
We configure the Output (Video Bitrate and Audio Bitrate, as we configure it in the Encoding Profiles).
Output
We configure Video (Base resolution, as we configure it in the Encoding Profiles).
Video
We apply and accept the changes.
In the main OBS screen we go to sources and in the icon (+) we select in the drop-down menu Multimedia source
We create the multimedia source profile and we accept
In the Multimedia Source profile that we have just created, we click, followed by Local File, we click Browse and select the source directory of the media that we want to transmit, we save the changes in OK.
Finally, we start the transmission in (Start Transmission)
We check in Platform in Live that we believe that the transmission is correct.
